Itinerary

 

Day-1: 

Arrival in Lucerne by train from Zurich Airport. Welcome to the world of nature.  Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Thanks to its attractions, its souvenir and watch shops, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, the town is a destination for many travel groups and individuals on their journey through central Switzerland.

Day-2: 

Excursion to Mount Titlis – at 3020 m / 10’000 ft. From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monestry village Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cablecar takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. And get your thrills on the TITLIS Cliff Walk, a spectacular Suspension bridge at a height of 3041 m/10'000 ft.

Day-3: 

Rail journey over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken lies in the Bernese Oberland on an alluvial plain, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The vacation destination, which is presided over by the three mighty mountains, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, is the starting point for numerous activities.

Day-4:

Excursion to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The Jungfrau Railway takes you up to the Jungfraujoch – at 3454 m / 11’333 ft the highest railway station in Europe. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken.

 

Day-5:

Today explore the Ropes Park Interlaken which is a forest adventure of wooden bridges, tarzan swings and zip lines. 9 courses of varying difficulty and height provide an exciting day out for beginners and adrenaline seekers, whether individuals, a group of friends or the whole family. More than 120 different challenges from ground level up to 20 meters in height await you. You will be equipped with everything you need and given safety instructions for a fun-filled day with unforgettable memories. Allow 2.5 to 3 hours for this all-weather activity.

Day-6: 

Rail journey through the wonderful Bernese Oberland to the Valais, either via the Lötschberg base tunnel directly to Visp and further to Zermatt. Or by the RegioExpress Lötschberger – the train with big windows using the traditional scenic Lötschberg line to Brig and continue your journey to Zermatt, the famous resort at the foot of the Matterhorn.

Day-7: 

The popular Gornergrat Bahn, Europe’s highest open-air cogwheel railway, takes you up to the Gornergrat 9.339 km away. On the Gornergrat viewing platform you are surrounded by 29 peaks rising to above 4000 m.

Day-8:

Train transfer to Zurich. At 12: 15noon an excursion to Northern Switzerland and the Black Forest, one of the most attractive landscapes of Southern Germany. Along Lake Schluchsee you reach Titisee, the very heart of the Black Forest. You will get a short introduction in how they bring those popular cuckoo clocks to sing, then you will enjoy time at leisure. Perhaps you wish to do a boat ride or enjoy the local food; the most known speciality is the Black Forest Cake, made with cherry brandy (almost NO calories....) Driving through very impressive spruce forests passing by Lenzkirch you return to Switzerland. There you will stop to admire the Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest and most spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy! Duration: 7 Hrs.

Day-9:

Day to ride on fast train TGV to Paris. In evening discover Paris's most famous sights and monuments on a single tour. This tour of Paris by night includes a visit to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower with breathtaking views of the illuminated capital, a panoramic coach tour of the city, plus an hour-long cruise along the Seine in a glass-topped boat.
