    Depart Zurich at 8:00 AM for an unforgettable Alpine journey to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe at 3,454 metres. Travel by guided coach into the magnificent Bernese Oberland. At Lauterbrunnen, board the cogwheel train and travel via Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face, to Jungfraujoch – Europe’s highest railway station. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Observation Hall overlooking the Aletsch Glacier and surrounding snow-covered peaks. In the late afternoon, continue to Interlaken and check in at the hotel. Overnight at a First Class Hotel. Dinner is on your own.

    Spend the day at leisure in Interlaken, beautifully located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Relax, enjoy sightseeing or shop along the Höhenstrasse with its restaurants, fashion boutiques, watch and jewellery shops. You may optionally enjoy a cruise on Lake Thun or visit the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum near Brienz, which showcases traditional Swiss rural buildings and lifestyles. At approximately 6:00 PM, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for the coach tour beginning the following morning. Overnight at a First Class Hotel. Dinner is on your own

    Tuesday – Interlaken – Berne – Gruyères – Geneva
    Leave Interlaken in the morning and travel along beautiful Lake Thun to Berne, Switzerland’s capital. Explore the historic Old Town, including the Clock Tower, Kramgasse and the 15th-century Cathedral of St. Vincent. Continue south through scenic dairy farmland to Gruyères, a picturesque hilltop town with an impressive medieval castle. Visit a local milk-product factory before continuing through the Vaud Riviera to Geneva, one of Switzerland’s most cosmopolitan cities. Overnight at a Superior Tourist Class Hotel. Dinner is on your own.

    Wednesday – Geneva – Montreux – Zermatt
    Begin the morning with a city tour of Geneva, visiting the beautiful lakeside parks, the unique Town Hall and the European seat of the United Nations. Later in the morning, leave Geneva and travel to Lausanne and Montreux. Pass historic Chillon Castle and enjoy time for lunch in Montreux. Continue through Valais and the Rhône Valley, surrounded by orchards and vineyards. At Täsch, board a cogwheel train to Zermatt at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn. Dinner and overnight at a First Class Hotel.

    Thursday – Zermatt – Nufenen Pass – Zurich
    Spend the morning at leisure in Zermatt. Admire the traditional farmhouses and barns, enjoy shopping and relaxation, or optionally take the cogwheel train to Gornergrat for spectacular views of the surrounding snow-covered peaks. In the afternoon, board the train to Täsch, where the bus continues across the breathtaking Nufenen Pass to Airolo. Return from Airolo to Zurich by bus or train. Arrival in Zurich is approximately 6:30 PM.
